After walking the path her parents paved, Angie now works a stable job as a registered nurse. One day, she encounters a homeless girl Ellie stealing food at the hospital. Angie's prejudgement tells her that she could be dangerous, but her eyes say otherwise. She's in love for the first time.
Director’s Statement: Inspired by a true story from a friend. Looking through the lenses of a middle class Chinese immigrant and finding her true-self through the story of prejudgment, memory and letting go.
Haoming Chen is a Chinese director and film maker. Currently studying at JMC Academy in Brisbane, Australia. He is best known for Fallen Angel (2024), Pure (2024) and Hidden Melody (2025).
