Ayu, a customer service employee who is also a single mom, had to pay her mother’s rent arrears but her salary is paid late. When she confronts her boss about this, she accidentally reveals dark facts in her workplace.
Director’s Statement: Injustice in the workplace occurs even in the smallest type of job. The work environment is expected to be a safe place to earn an income and build a career but is sometimes used by individuals who have positions of power to fulfil their personal needs. The woman in this film is a figure who is vulnerable to receiving such treatment.
Her interest in film started in Vocational High School. Combining this interest with her passion for literature and audiovisual, she continued her education at Jogja Film Academy, majoring in Film and Television Production.
