Note from the MFF Programmer:
"Fear is an emotion inbuilt in us all. With it, our brain interprets the stimulations as threats and our heart beats faster than usual. This emotion often prompts us to fight or flight.
Without the appearance of any grotesque figure, films curated in this special programme bring together the emotions of fear and excitement shown through the characters who attempt to engage their audiences with seemingly horrific deeds.
Films curated in this programme were nominated for the recently held Mini Film Festival. Through these films, we explore how films engage their audiences with both emotions of fear and excitement be it through the characters or audiences themselves. Have fun watching!"
